MANBA‘ AL-IMDĀD: A FOUNTAIN OF HELP

A Compendium of the talks of:

DARS 48:BUILD UP THE BALANCE OF GOOD DEEDS

Surely, a person finds for himself the path of goodness. It is the same whether he is wealthy or he is not wealthy, whether he is strong or he is not strong. He obtains what he earns of goodness and he will meet Allah with the balance in his Record on the Day of Judgement; and for him, it will be a plea. And this balance is of the good deeds. If you do good deeds and keep away from the prohibited, you are answered when you supplicate to Him; and you are given when you ask Him; and He gives You affection when you seek His affection, the Glorified and the Exalted. But if the rope between you and Allah is cut off, you do not pray, do not stand by His Command, are not thankful to Him, are not obedient to Him, and say: “O Lord! O Lord”! How can you be heedless of your Lord and disobey Your Lord and go against His Command and say: “O Lord”! How will He answer you?

So build up a stock for yourself, at least of the well-known matters about worship and remembrance (of Allah) everyday, then seek from your Lord and rejoice in the response.

And your Lord said: Supplicate to Me. I will respond to you. (40:60)
