Chapter 7
‘Ibada: Worship of Allah
1. Mother of believers, Sayyidatina ‘Aisha (ر ) relates: “During the last ten days of the month of Ramadan, the Holy Prophet (ص ), used to keep awake the whole night and would call upon the members of his Family to do the same and he used to make great efforts and gird himself up (for intensive night-long worship). (Bukhari and Muslim)
2. Hadrat Abu Musa Ash‘ari (ر ) relates that the Holy Prophet ص) ) said: “When a servant of Allah falls ill or goes on a journey, he is credited with an equal amount of recompense for the (good) deeds that he normally used to perform when healthy at home”. (Bukhari)
